Boing Boing reports that someone attempted to rob a Wayne, NJ, Ramada Inn while disguised as "Casper, the Friendly Ghost," or apparently, a reasonable facsimile. Police have investigated and determined that the perpetrator was in fact NOT Casper, and not a ghost of any kind, but a guest at the inn. He was wearing a sheet with holes cut out of it. One hopes he didn't get the sheet from his room. That would have been really, really rude.
