From TV Guide: Penn Jillette (yes, he of Penn and Teller) will guest on CBS' The Defenders November 10th episode. He'll play a magic scholar (no, not a "magic scholar." A magic shop owner specializing in the knowledge of magic and magical arts. Be serious).
Update. Well, I watched the November 10th episode of The Defenders, and while it was, as usual, very entertaining, it didn't have Penn Jillette in it. He's in the next episode, scheduled to air November 17th. Upcoming on November 13, another episode of The Mentalist ("Bleeding Heart").
