Man Arrested For Beating Son In Order To Drive Out "Demons"

The Houston Chronicle reports that police arrested a local man after they were called to his home when a security alarm went off. After investigating, they had cause to believe that he had beaten his three year old son for "eating meat." The father said it was because a demon had gotten into the boy through the meat eating. Prosecutors are charging the man with a felony. The child is being treated for his serious head injuries at a hospital, where he is expected to recover.
