CNN's Lola Ogunnaike posts yet another report on psychics whose business is booming in this economy become their clients want info on jobs, jobs, jobs. Here's her report, yet another one suggesting that people are willing to part with precious cash, sometimes in the three figures per hour for a hint that a brighter future is just around the corner. One interviewee tells Ms. Ogunnaike that she thinks her money is well-spent because she feels better afterward, just as if she had gone to a therapist, and that's certainly the justification many clients of psychics use. Are psychics actually making promises about job futures for their clients? Or are they helping clients reduce stress? Or both?
