Another Faith Healing Case Goes To Trial

Yesterday's New York Times discusses the case against a couple that resisted taking its daughter to a physician for treatment. The child died of "diabetic ketoacidosis resulting from undiagnosed and untreated juvenile diabetes." The parents, Dale and Leilani Neumann, now face trial for the death; they are claiming a freedom of religion defense.
