I just missed the birthday of lawyer-magician Alton Sharpe (born September 5, 1921, died December 21, 1964). Here's an article about him from Magic Magazine. He graduated from John Marshall Law School, and practiced both criminal and civil law. He also published numerous books on magic. He also owned the Al Sharpe Studio of Magic.
