Update On Priest Who Set Off on Balloon Flight

This story is the latest I could find regarding that priest who set off to set a new world's record with 1000 balloons, a parachute, and other survival gear. Apparently Father Adelir Antonio de Carli reported in within about an hour that things were not going well, and searchers set off to look for him. They maintained contact for hours but never found him. They did find some balloons in the ocean, but no sign of him. The Brazilian Air Force stopped looking after a couple of days, but the family apparently chartered a plane and kept up with the search. Father di Carlo wanted to raise money for the spiritual health and benefit of Brazilian truck drivers. Read more here. A very, very tragic story.
